A secondary education is not enough for gainful employment. The two-year
associate degree is worth, at the very least, an additional quarter million
dollars earned over the span of one career. That quarter million adds up.
Nearly ninety percent of our graduates stay in Virginia. They put down roots. And
that puts tens of thousands into the workforce. The tax base grows. Those additional
dollars ripple through the economy – keeping the companies and the jobs in Virginia.
