V. Transfer
- All transfer degrees from community colleges will articulate with public four-year colleges and universities. Students will be admitted with third-year status and will have fulfilled all lower division general education requirements.
- All colleges will have guaranteed admission agreements with four-year colleges or universities in high demand, critical shortage occupations.
- The VCCS will triple the number of transfer program graduates who successfully transfer to a four-year college or university.
- Dual enrollment transfer courses completed during a student’s high school experience will transfer to public four-year colleges and universities.
- Upon graduation from a public four-year Virginia college, VCCS graduates will earn a GPA equal to or greater than native students at that college and will have progressed towards the bachelor’s degree at equal rates.
