ENG 112 College Composition II (3 cr.) Continues to develop college writing with increased emphasis on critical essays, argumentation, and research, developing these competencies through the examination of a range of texts about the human experience. Requires students to locate, evaluate, integrate, and document sources and effectively edit for style and usage. Prequisite: ENG 111 or equivalent and use word processing software. Lecture 3 hours per week.

Hybrid - combines 2/3 real-time instruction (days/times established) using Blackboard Collaborate (desktop web-conferencing software) and 1/3 online instruction (using Blackboard). Students must attend on the main campus or at one of the satellite centers for the Blackboard Collaborate session and provide their own headset/mic to participate.
