Introduction To Welding (WEL 120) - Fall 2012

WEL 120 Introduction to Welding ( 3 cr.) Introduces history of welding processes. Covers types of equipment, and assembly of units, stresses welding procedures such as fusion, nonfusion and includes oxyacetylene, arc, inert gas (MIG and TIG) and flux core. Emphasizes procedures in the use of tools and equipment. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
