Welder Qualification Tests I (WEL 141) - Spring 2014

WEL 141 Welder Qualification Test (3 cr.) Studies techniques and practices of testing welded joints through destructive and non-destructive tests, guiding, discoloration heat test, porous examinations, tensile, hammer, and free bend tests. Also studies visual, magnetic and fluorescent tests. Prerequisite: WEL 124. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
