             This 8 hour course is designed to provide a basic look

 at the statutes and regulations that govern contractor  

 licensing in Virginia, including a review of the different types of licenses available and the qualifications for

each, Standards of Practice, Prohibited Acts and How to

Avoid Violations of the Regulations. 

                                                                                  

This course is not specifically designed to prepare the student to take the contractor licensing exams in Virginia.  However, topics covered in the course will help with the first two parts of the test (Part 1-Virginia portion, Part 2-General portion). More exam information is available in the “Candidate Information Bulletin” from PSI Examination Services at www.psiexams.com.

 

Included in the cost of the course are handouts and a work book which will serve students beyond the course as a reference in conducting their construction business in Virginia.     This course is recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, Board for Contractors.
