Interlibrary Loan Policy
Interlibrary loan services are extended only to CVCC faculty and staff,
and students currently enrolled in classes at CVCC, including distance
offerings via compressed video, synchronous or asynchronous transmission.
The library does not secure materials through interlibrary loan for the
community borrowers or former CVCC students.
Forms for requesting interlibrary loan services are available at the
circulation desk and ONLINE. CVCC’s
distance students may also use this form to request books and periodical
articles owned by the CVCC library.
The library will bear up to $30.00 (thirty) in interlibrary loan charges. In the event that an interlibrary loan cannot be filled for under $30.00, the person making the request will be given the opportunity to pay the excess charge or cancel the request.
Renewals must be requested prior to the due date indicated on the book cover.
Interlibrary loans should be returned to the circulation desk.
The library will also bear the cost for mailing materials back to the lending institution.
