CVCC to Host 2007 Technology Fair
Lynchburg, Va. /Media Release/ -- In what has become one of the most anticipated events on the two-year schools academic calendar, Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) will host the Technology Fair 2007. More than 250 students from up to twelve area high schools are expected to participate in this years program. The competition will take place at the Lynchburg campus on Friday, May 11, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Students will compete in one or more of thirteen events vying for cash awards. The high school earning the highest point total from all the events will receive $500 to go toward its technology program.
Young men and women currently enrolled in an area high school, public or private, can compete in any of the individual and/or team events.
