Taylor Mali to Appear at CVCC
Lynchburg, VA /Media Release / -- Four-time National Slam Poetry Champion, Taylor Mali, will give two live performances at Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg, Virginia, on April 17, 2008. The New York native has been regarded as the most successful slam poet of all time, incorporating his experiences as a former teacher to bridge the communication gap between educators and their students.
Mali will also conduct two workshops, one each for faculty and students. In these interactive sessions he teaches the basics of poetry through composition, recitation, and feedback.
