Leticia Forster joins CVCC as Human Resources Analyst
Lynchburg, VA /Media Release/3/25/09 Leticia Forster has recently joined Central Virginia Community College as a human resources analyst. Originally from Miami, Florida, Forster earned her bachelors degree in human resources management from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) as well as being a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
Prior to coming to Virginia, Forster was the human resources manager for Angiotech, a medical device company, in Gainesville, Florida. She had previously worked as a payroll manager for Teamstaff in Boca Raton, Florida.
Forster enjoys the variety of challenges in her field and the need to think outside the box. She puts a high priority on helping people and is very pleased with the friendly environment at CVCC where she feels people behave like an extended family toward one another.
Forster and her husband, originally from Connecticut, have a two-year old son. They are pleased with their move to Lynchburg and are enjoying the mountain views, the change of seasons, and the beauty of this area.
