Connie Sublett Named Human Resources Analyst at CVCC
Lynchburg, VA /Media Release/4/21/09 Central Virginia Community College has promoted Connie Sublett to the position of Human Resources Analyst. Sublett has served CVCC as a Human Resources Administrative and Office Specialist since 2002, and previously worked in the Workforce Development office at the College.
A native of Virginia, Sublett grew up just outside the town of Vinton and graduated from Staunton River High School. She is currently completing classes in the Colleges Human Resources certification program. She enjoys working with people, helping them whenever possible, and feels blessed to be in the family-oriented environment of CVCC, where she has great respect for the faculty and staff.
Sublett and her husband, who is in the Department of Campus Police at the CVCC Bedford Center, have three daughters and five grandchildren. One of their daughters graduated from CVCC and finished her bachelors degree at Old Dominion University, while remaining on the CVCC campus. The only time any of us set foot on the ODU campus was when she graduated, Sublett said, the educational opportunities at CVCC are remarkable.
