Williams Company Scholarship awarded to David Lewis Hurt
Lynchburg, Va. /Media Release/ Central Virginia Community College announces that David Lewis Hurt has been awarded the inaugural Williams Company Scholarship to attend CVCC during the 2009-2010 academic year. The scholarship provides an annual award of $2000.
Hurt is a graduate of Appomattox County High School. He won the scholarship through a competitive interview process conducted by the CVCC Educational Foundation, Inc.
While attending CVCC, hurt will be majoring in a technology curriculum. Williams Company provides a summer internship for the recipient.
An integrated natural gas company, Williams Company produces, gathers, processes and transports clean-burning natural gas to heat homes and for power electric generation across the country.
