Eighth annual BRPAS photography exhibition opens at Merritt Hall
Lynchburg, VA
/Media Release/7/09/10 The Blue Ridge Photographic
Arts Society announces that its annual Summer Exposure exhibition has opened
at CVCCs Merritt Hall and will continue until late August.
All of the work exhibited has been created by the members of the Blue Ridge
Photographic Society and is as varied as the club's membership. These local
photographers explore both digital and traditional photographic techniques.
Subject matter includes beautiful local scenes as well as travel photography and
thoughtful portraits and figure studies.The Blue Ridge Photographic Arts
Society (BRPAS) is a strong, vibrant arts organization whose mission is to
advance photographic skills and understanding and to promote photography in the
Central Virginia area. Merritt Hall Gallery at Central Virginia Community
College is an important local venue that encourages area artists to exhibit
while introducing the CVCC community to current art from the local area and
beyond.
