Loretta Marshall Joins CVCC as Human Resources Assistant
Lynchburg, VA /Media Release/ -- Loretta Marshall has joined Central Virginia Community College as a Human Resources Assistant. She came to the College with thirty years of work experience, including eight years in the human resources department at Centra Health.
Marshall is a graduate of Amherst County High School and is enrolled in the Human Resources Certification curriculum at CVCC. She began her career in the health field as a CNA but explored other career directions and learned she really enjoys being a resource person, involved in problem-solving and personnel matters.
She is impressed with the quality of education offered at CVCC and admires the fact that the College offers so many opportunities to people in this area.
Very active in her church, Marshall is her pastors secretary. She was a part of a medical mission team in Jamaica, along with Centra Health staff members. Marshall has a grown daughter, who lives in New York City, and a four-year old granddaughter. In her spare time,
she enjoys reading.
