CVCC Merritt Hall Gallery to Feature Impressions of Italy
Lynchburg,
VA /Media Release/11/08/11 From Rome to Venice, an
exhibition of photographs and drawings of Italy, will open at the Merritt Hall
Gallery of Central Virginia Community College on Friday, November 11, and
remain until the end of December. An opening reception will be held on Friday,
November 11, from 5:00 p.m until 7:30 p.m.
The works reflect the travels of a number of CVCC faculty, staff, and students
as they journeyed from Rome, Venice and to the incredible beauty of Florence in
May 2011. Along the way they captured the streets of Rome, the beauty of the Italian
lifestyle and the charm of their people.
The reception at Merritt Hall on Friday, November 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30
p.m. is free and open to the public. During the month, the gallery is open
during regular college hours.
