Take Hwy 29 South. Turn left at the traffic light on Calohan Road in
front of Foster Fuels. Continue on Calohan Road going across Rt 24
(Colonial Hwy) until you reach Browns Mill Road. Turn left on Browns Mill
Road for about ½ mile until the road ends at the intersection of US 501.
Turn right on US 501 and continue into downtown Brookneal. After the
first traffic light, go straight and turn at the second left onto Webb
Street. The Brookneal Center is in the lower level of the Patrick Henry
Memorial Library.
From Altavista:
Take Hwy US 29 North. Take a right onto SR 699 (Gladys Road)
approximately 9 miles until it ends at the stop sign. At the stop sign
take a left unto Long Island Road for approximately 2 miles to US 501.
Turn right onto US 501 South and continue for about 11 miles into
downtown Brookneal. After the first traffic light, go straight and turn
at the second left onto Webb Street. The Brookneal Center is in the lower
level of the Patrick Henry Memorial Library.
