Nuclear Technologies Pipeline
Improving STEM Education
“Nuclear Technologies Pipeline”, a newsletter dedicated to educators of science, technology, engineering and math.
This is a monthly newsletter providing information, updates and resources based on the activities of a National Science Foundation grant called “Nuclear Technologies Education: Priming the Pipeline” that was awarded to Central Virginia Community College (see project summary).
This project supports activities that provide students with the relevant science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills needed to have a successful career in the nuclear energy technologies industry, and provide STEM teachers with the resources and professional development opportunities needed to successfully teach these STEM skills.
We hope this newsletter will make everyone more aware of opportunities for professional development, curriculum enhancement, career information and other resources for improving STEM education as it relates to energy production and transmission.
Let us know what you think. We are always open to suggestions for future issues.
For more information on this project or to receive this monthly newsletter by email, contact the CVCC NSF Project Manager.
