AREVA Speakers Bureau

AREVA employees possess knowledge about a number of topics that may interest STEM teachers and their students. In an ongoing effort to be good corporate citizens in the communities in which they live and work and to support STEM education, AREVA employees are available to speak throughout the community and schools on a range of energy topics.

AREVA has developed a series of presentations on a broad range of topics. In addition to being subject experts, AREVA employees involved in this program receive professional speaker training.

The length of the presentations can easily be adjusted to fit your needs. If your organization has a particular topic that pertains to the energy industry, please let us know and we will investigate the development of a presentation on your requested topic.

The list of topics that are or will be available are:

  • The Coming Energy Crisis: What it Means to You
  • Radiation: Myth versus Reality
  • Sustainable Development
  • The Role of Nuclear Power in the Energy Mix of the Future
  • Renewable Versus Non-renewable Resources
  • The Role of Mathematics in the Energy Industry

To request a speaker or explore the development of a new energy related topic, contact the CVCC NSF Project Manager.
